OOTD: Sweetheart Crocodile ft. Banggood

I hope you are all doing well and having a lovely week! I've got another outfit post to share with you all. I recently got these wonderful items and just had to throw together an outfit to test them out.

Lately when I'm not busy with work or school, I've been binge watching Grey's Anatomy. A Grey's Anatomy marathon. Spending the entire day with the whole Seattle Grace Mercy West later known as Grey Sloan Memorial. If you watch Grey's as well and are as addicted to the show as I am, comment down below!!

But after receiving these items from Banggood, I actually got my butt of the couch and did something productive. And by productive I mean throw together some outfit inspirations. Like this one right here.

If you recall from a previous post, I did a wishlist of items I want from Banggood. I got the crocodile purse and the sleeveless black top from the list. Just looking at the two items, they create a visually interesting outfit already. I decided to throw on some white shorts and ankle boots in a similar matching brown as the bag to complete the outfit. Boom and done.

On some days, the outfits you pull on reflect your main goal of productiveness and practicality. A simple shirt and pants will do. If it is clean then that's all that matters. That contrasts to the days when your outfit screams individuality by the way it creatively and effectively acts as a mode of self expression. And then there are the times when what you choose what to wear based on the desired resulting emotion you can get. Here, this outfit makes me feel smart yet glam, pulled together and polished. It is composed of a few simple articles of clothing, and yet it does all that.

Perhaps it's the way the orangey brown of the crocodile bag brings out this warmth from the boots. Or how the crochet detailing on the top adds contrasting texture. Or maybe it's all because of the crisp white shorts. It's probably because of the shorts. I mean, wouldn't you agree? The juxtaposition of black and white in an outfit is just so satisfying.

The crochet pattern on the top reminds me of seashells. "She sells seashells by the seashore". They also resemble flowers as well. Regardless, I love the way it borders the sweetheart neckline. Sweetheart necklines are so flattering and they add a nice bit of soft femininity to the edgy sheerness of the top.

I adore this purse as well. Ignore the fact that I look like I'm advertising this purse like a new kids toy. Awkward posing. Oh well. You live and you learn right? I mean, yeah that usually applies to actual life events, but whatever. Sayings are sayings, and if I can twist them to fit the context, they can mean whatever I want them to mean. After all, they are just words. Words that I, as the writer, am twisting to form something coherent. So just go with it.

Crocodile Purse

The lovely faux-crocodile purse looks very classy and sophisticated. The simple cross-body style is very convenient as it frees up your hands. You need both hands to text and play Pokemon Go, am I right? (I actually have not downloaded the game because games waste too much battery on my phone haha but literally everyone I know is obsessed, are you??)

There's also the option to tuck in the strap and use it like a clutch as well. Both ways look great and adds a nice finishing touch to an outfit. The warm brown hue is also very easy to style. It creates that timeless quality to it.

The simple clasp at the front allows for easy opening and closing when you need to hurriedly whip out your bus pass to catch the bus. Or is that just me? Because I always find myself either just barely catching the bus, or having to wait for eternity because it never came. I do have a car, that I share, but it's not always convenient to drive. Especially when parking at school costs a fortune and you are already paying a fortune and half for tuition.

I really like the way this outfit smoothly flows and matches, and how the shirt and bag seamlessly work with my existing wardrobe while still standing apart uniquely. Wearing this makes me feel confident, fun and beautiful, ready for the summer day ahead.

I love getting things from Banggood because they have awesome products and a wide variety to choose from. I've gotten things from them in the past, like the lace sleeves LBD or boho slit sleeves LBD or long-sleeve black dress. Oh gosh. There's a trend. I keep getting black dresses from Banggood.
