A Glimpse of Glam

Hey everyone!

So I guess autumn is creeping upon us, slowly inching its way closer and closer. I'm currently wrapped up in a cozy blanket sipping on some hot tea while typing this. Just a few days ago, FEW DAYS AGO, I was making sure the fan was on all night to cool down my bedroom. I know I am always complaining about the weather, but seriously. What is with this?

Because the warm weather won't be around for much longer, we all need to start prepping for some fall outfits. Gotta keep up our OOTD game, you know? Don't want to walk down the street looking less than on fleek. (Ugh can't believe I just said "on fleek". Seriously the slang these days makes me cringe sometimes. So ignore that last part, why don't you?)

I was browsing online for some inspiration as per usual, and I found some great stuff on Rosegal that I quite like. Rosegal is a website that offers a wide selection of clothes, accessories, shoes, and other products at lower prices without compromising quality. They also have free shipping, which is a definite plus in my book. I hate when the shipping costs more than the actual item you are purchasing. What's the point of online shopping if the shipping costs so much?

Black Zippered Jumpsuit

I am nothing if not a creature of habit. And obsessions. You should all be fairly familiar with my obsession with jumpsuits by now. If not, then please refer to exhibit A, exhibit B, and exhibit C for proof. Jumpsuits are just so amazing. They are an entire outfit in one, and look so chic and pulled together. You can wear them for so many occasions.

How are you all doing? I hope you had a fabulous week, and that you are enjoying your weekend!

As you can tell by the title, I have been feeling quite inspired lately by jumpsuits. The good thing is that they are trendy right now too. If I were obsessed with something like hoop skirts from the Victorian era, well that wouldn't be convenient now would it?

Jumpsuits just seem like the perfect outfit-in-one. Usually dresses fall under that label for me, but jumpsuits have really caught my eye. Pants are easier to manage because you don't have to worry about "incidents", and you can sit criss-crossed as you please. You don't need to worry about matching a top and bottoms because it's already done for you. The only thing you have to worry about is going to the bathroom.

That's not the most convenient. Especially if you really needed to go.

At one point I had the thought that they should make a butt-flap on jumpsuits like how children's onesies have in cartoons. I was randomly watching a rerun of an Arthur episode, and DW (my favorite character ever because she's sassy as hell) wore a onesie with a butt-flap. Wouldn't that make going to the bathroom ten-time easier? But then again, it would also look quite ridiculous. So never mind. Scratch that crazy idea.

Anyways, today I wanted to share with you all some of the awesome jumpsuits I found online on StyleWe. They offer so many great clothing and accessory options. But what I'm most happy to find is their wide selection of jumpsuits.

One

 This cream-colored jumpsuit looks so classy yet sexy. The cut-outs at the side help draw attention to your waist, and shows skin without revealing too much. I love the cream color because it is a very flattering color.

Two

This one caught my eye as well because of the way it drapes around the hips. It sort of balloons out around, and the overall design is so different. It looks almost Grecian in the way it drapes on the body. I really love the resulting ripples of fabric.

Three

In the photos, the model paired this with sneakers as well as heels. I really like how this jumpsuit is so versatile and can go with either. The wide, cuffed sleeves add a side of masculinity to it. And the belt really makes it all look so pulled-together and trendy.

Four

What I like about this jumpsuit is how it has this light summery feel. The bodice looks like the type of a summer dress, simple, comfortable, and feminine. Because of the simplicity, you can add just about any accessory to dress it up.

Hey everyone!

Do you know those mornings when you open your closet door to a fully stocked wardrobe, and you feel like you have absolutely nothing to wear? I get that quite a lot. I feel at loss of inspiration, though to another person it would seem like limitless options. When those moments strike, I know it's time to start browsing online for outfit inspiration, whether it be updating myself on the latest trends, finding new ways to repurpose old favorites, or simply compiling a list of items I would like to add.

Creating a wishlist is a great way for me to figure out just what it is I feel I am lacking. I've done this on several occasions before. One site I like to browse when creating a wishlist is Banggood. They have a wide selection to choose from. Clothes, shoes, accessories, home decor, etc.

Just like with Pinterest and Instagram, I can literally spend eternity browsing shops online. Just bookmarking one thing after another. Opening up millions of tabs. Imagining ways I could integrate the piece into my existing wardrobe. Then I look at the clock and realize my "five minute" break had turned into an hour, and my blinking cursor is still at the same spot I left it on the blank Word document.

Point is, I created another wishlist of things I like from Banggood. I figured why not share it with others who would probably like a lot of the stuff I chose as well? Never any harm in getting another opinion. I gotta make sure it isn't just my inspiration-deprived mind talking that is influencing my mind into thinking something is worthy when it isn't.

Denim Dress

I normally would not actually think about getting something like this, but for some reason this actually caught my eye. I think this would look really great on its own, or even unbuttoned and worn as a jacket.

Blue Chiffon Top

This top looks similar to ones I already own mostly because of the material. I like the flow and drape of chiffon, and this top would be a great addition for the summer. The royal blue is so bright and vibrant, it would look really great paired with some white shorts or light-washed jeans. What do you think?

Crocodile Bag

This bag looks so awesome. I HAD to add it to my list. Of everything I have in this wishlist, I love this bag the most. The crocodile print of the material really gives the bag character, and the color is so versatile and easy to work with. It would be great for the daytime, or a night out. Honestly, the only issue with this is the small size because that means I can't cram a bunch of (useless) stuff in there.

Olive Jacket

This jacket isn't a novel idea or anything because I've seen it everywhere. And that's just it. I've seen this style so often, and I have a jacket in this color, but not this actual jacket itself. If I had this, I can see myself wearing this all the time.

Black Shirt

I love how sweetheart necklines look, and this shirt has a variation of it. The top has an intricate mesh design too. The only downside to this is that I should be careful of not sitting out in the sun too long in it because it would create very bizarre tan lines.

Graphic Tee

What drew me to this shirt was the abstract print it had. It's very eye-catching, and the cut of this oversized shirt is different from ones I already own.

Hey everyone!

How are you guys all holding up? I know I always say this, but I really cannot believe how fast time has gone. Just a short while ago, I was starting winter quarter at school. I remember how I had just only told you guys how I was cramming for midterms, and struggling to find time to relax. Now, I'm prepping for finals! What is this? I feel like I am just now getting comfortable in my classes, and liking how my schedule is. On the bright side, this means break is fast approaching! I cannot wait to finally relax and sleep in guilt-free! Even if it's only for a week. But beggars can't be choosers.

Spring is just around the corner. The weather is warming up, and with that comes the endless rainy days as well. I mean, I'm happy I don't need to bundle up anymore. But, I also find it a hassle to have to carry around an umbrella, or be forced to wear my raincoat all the time. I would love to break out my leather jacket again! ...after all, you guys KNOW how much I LOVE my leather jackets! Just a little bit longer and they will be creeping back into my wardrobe.

To get in the spring spirit, I decided to share my wishlist of stuff I want to get from Banggood. I made a wishlist a couple months ago. I ended up ordered some of the stuff from that wishlist, and the package has finally arrived! I will be a post with the stuff I got from there soon! So keep an eye out. Or two. Because I'm assuming you guys have two eyes. Unless something happened. In that case, sorry if that sounded discriminatory. Yeah... okay. Moving on!

One

I found this dress while browsing through their selection. I really love this light summery style! It's a great, simple LBD that can be easily dressed up or down for any occasion. You really can't go wrong with a dress like this.

Two

I am in LOVE with bucket bags at the moment! I really love the casual feel of them. They are very convenient to use, and the versatile style can complement many outfits. I chose this bag in brown instead of a standard black because I realized I don't have a brown bag like this. It has a nice boho feel to it. I think it would be perfect to use on a spring day.

Three

The red color of this simple dress caught my eye. I like how it has this casual feel to it. I can definitely see myself throwing on this dress, a pair of sandals, and being ready for an outing. This would look great with that brown bag too. I'm sensing a potential OOTD...are you?

Four

This dress is so adorable! I really love the print of it. It's something unusual, and yet it would fit into my wardrobe so seamlessly. I'm a sucker for a great printed dress or skirt. Plus, with it being in black and white, you won't risk it being too loud for your liking.

Five

Here's another bag that caught my eye. I don't know why but I really like the look of it. Maybe it's because it has this subtle edgy vibe. I can see it pairing well with that printed dress. Perhaps with some black boots as well?

Six

This dress is something I normally would not go for. I love the big gaping sleeves, and the loose drape of it. It's very summery and boho-chic. But, I'm wondering if it's something I can pull off. I really like it though, and there are so many ways to style it too. You can go a minimalist route, or jazz it up with accessories.

Seven

This last dress is yet another LBD that I would love to include in my wardrobe. I love lace sleeves. This would also be a great dress for the spring because it's black, so you can add just about anything to spruce it up. It would go great with boots or sandals. It's the perfect transitional piece.

Maybe I should have gone and found some rain jackets to add to the list... Because I mean, I was just complaining about the rainy weather. But I usually stay indoors anyways. So what I wear underneath matters more to me. Perhaps I should just stop being lazy and bring an umbrella, so I can wear my beloved leather jackets again. Ha! Who am I kidding? Lazy is my middle name.

Anyways, wish me luck on my finals! I needed this distraction amidst the flurry of stress as the quarter draws to an end. I am such a typical girl. I love to fantasize about my future wedding: how it will be decorated, where it will take place, and most importantly, what I will wear. Of course, I am no where NEAR getting married. (Firstly, you gotta find yourself a man, someone you are willing to tie yourself down with for the rest of your life. That's a heavy task, my friend). But that won't stop me from perusing the internet for inspiration to add to my ever-increasing list of what I want at my wedding. Remember that movie, The Wedding Planner? That's pretty much me.

If any of you out there need some great inspiration for your wedding dress, here are my top picks. Feel free to just sit around at home drinking cheap wine in a wedding dress too. Don't worry. No one will judge. If Monica, Rachel, and Phoebe could do it in Friends, why can't you? The perfect wedding dress can have the power to make you feel like a million bucks, and there's never anything wrong with wanting to look like you came straight from the cover of a bridal magazine.

I love this wedding dress. There is just something so beautiful about the sheer panel. I like how it has a high neckline, but the fact that there is a sheer panel makes it less modest and more subtly sexy. High necklines are so flattering because they highlight your collarbone, but not in an overt way. This is one of the beach wedding dresses Cocomelody has to offer.

Three

This is another one of my favorites because of the swirling leaf and flower design. I like how it is more on the nature, bohemian side. It will look so beautiful for an outside wedding, one near lots of trees and stuff. Is it called an orchard? Something like that. You get what I'm trying to describe.

This is one of their 2016 wedding dresses. I would love to wear something like this at my own wedding someday. The sheer panel plus the leaves and flowers have definitely caught my eye!

Last but not least, this dress is one of favorites as well from their 2016 wedding dress collection. There are also flowers in the design, and I really love how it also adds a bohemian flair to it too. The sweetheart neckline is so gorgeous and flattering; I am a sucker for a great sweetheart neckline. The drape of it also is very slimming and highlights curves in a beautiful way. I just adore how elegant it looks.

Hey everyone!

As you guys know, I really love shopping and I am still in that mood. I love getting new things to add to my wardrobe. I like scouring the internet for things that could provide inspiration for my next shopping spree. I just really like shopping. It's something I hate to love because my wallet cries every time I do. I hate loving it, and I love hating it. It's a vicious cycle. I'm sure you guys understand.

In my last post, I created a wishlist of things I wanted from Banggood. Today, I wanted to share with you guys some of the top stuff I would love to get from Dresslink.com. That's what's so fun about online shopping; you can easily find a bunch of stuff that peaks your interest and provides inspiration.

One-Gray Dress with Shoulder Cut-outs

On my wishlist is this gray dress with the shoulder cut-outs. I really like how this dress looks because the shoulders, or lack of in this case, makes this dress unique. It is revealing without being too much. It is sexy in a discreet way. I'm all for being modest, but not to the point where I look like a nun. Thus why I really like the shoulder cut-outs.

See? I told you I like shoulder cut-outs in clothes. I think that this cropped sweater with the cut-outs updates a basic style to something modern and different. It's such a small detail, yet it makes a big impact. I like how it's also cropped because you can style it with high-waisted jeans (like in the photo) or with a skirt or something; it's an easy way to wear a sweater while still highlighting your body in a discreet way. I also really like the minimalistic style of it.

Three-Striped Dress

This striped dress also peaked my attention. I am loving dresses at the moment because they are something that can easily be thrown on when you are in a rush. I like how you can dress it up or down for whatever occasion. Throw on a leather jacket and black heeled booties and you can look fierce and edgy. Wear them with some red pumps and you got yourself a very classy look. It's so very versatile.

Hey everyone!

I wanted to start off by saying thank you to everyone for your sweet comments in my last post. I've been feeling a little down lately, since the new year has started. Blaming it on the post-holiday blues. But I'm feeling better. I know things will get better. We all have those ups and downs. That's normal for us all. And I really wanted to thank you for your kind words and all. Hope you guys are all doing well, too.

Anyways, today I wanted to share with you some stuff on my current wishlist.

Even though the holidays are long over and the new year has started, I'm still in that shopping mode. Yes, I received wonderful gifts, but I still find myself browsing the internet finding things I desperately want to buy. One of my goals this year is to save my money, but that's going to be sort of difficult if I keep tempting myself with online shopping, huh?

Here is my wishlist from Banggood.com, an online shopping site that has a vast collection of stuff that I guarantee will tempt you as well.

1-Lizard Ear Clip Earring

I think that this earring would be such a cool thing to wear. It's definitely super edgy, and I have no idea if I could pull that off. But it's still really nice and different.

2-Cross body Bag

This is the kind of bag I've been searching for awhile now. I love how classic and simple the design is. It's something that can go with pretty much every outfit, and become essential in your wardrobe.

3-Wool Coat

I usually go for black coats, but I really like how this looks in gray. The asymmetrical design makes it even more unique and different as well. I really like how the random folds and the zipper adds to the overall look.

4-Lace up Shoes

These shoes have been springing up everywhere the past year. I really like the lace up detail, it gives the look a boho vibe, which I like. It's perfect for spring.

5-Heeled Boots

I really like this color for the boots. These are such a simple style, ones that can be worn for a lot of different occasions. The tan-brown color also makes it more of a statement than plain black ones would.

6-Gloves

These gloves are so adorable! I love the bows on them. They add something girly to an otherwise edgy yet plain design. I love leather gloves, and the bows just makes me want them more.

7-Cardigan

The intricate pattern and drape of this cardigan is so different from what I already have. I like how it will seamlessly fit into my current wardrobe, yet it is such a statement in itself.

8-Scarf

I love blanket scarves. I love to wear huge scarves with all my outfits. This scarf will definitely be a great addition to my current collection.

9-Ring

I have an obsession with rings. I really love the leaf design here, and the way it wraps around your finger. It's so pretty, and will be a perfect statement piece.

10-Turtleneck Coat

I usually like to go for neutral colors when I choose coats. However, this burgundy color just caught my eye. Again, the asymmetrical design makes it unique, and I just really like the overall style.

11-Dress

This dress has also been popping up everywhere lately. It's something that can easily be thrown on, yet looks very put together and nice. I like the buttons on the side. This is something I can definitely see myself wearing. Maybe with that burgundy coat too?

12-Boots

These black boots are soooo beautiful! I love the chunky heel and the platform. The overall style is so basic, yet unique in itself. I really love the look of it. I can always go for another pair of heeled boots because I love wearing heels. And the two-toned style makes it different from what I already got.

Definitely check out this site, there are so many awesome things you can find. And the prices are all pretty reasonable and affordable as well. I'm kind of looking for some excuses right now to do some shopping, perhaps to treat myself for surviving the first week of winter quarter back at school? Is that reason enough?
